Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Arts-n-STEM4Hearts volunteers are unable to volunteer at nursing homes and elderly communities for the foreseeable future. So, the Montgomery County Village Aging and Disability Services in partnership with Health and Human Services (HHS) Holiday Gift project was a great way to lift the spirits of the elderly! The Arts-n-STEM4Hearts volunteers packaged cookies, herbal teas, brain-booster activities books, and winter gear for the elderly community in Montgomery County Villages. We thank Ms. Andrea Rogers, Ms. Pazit Aviv, Dhruv Pai, Amber Briscoe, Aditya Kumar, Aayush Sharma, Sahil Joshi, Ms. Manisha Kumar, Mr. Vinay Kumar and Ryan Briscoe for helping with this outreach.
