We also had volunteers join us in assembling art kits to donate to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. These Arts-n-STEM kits included paints, brushes, and canvases. In addition, some kits included crayon and marker kits with paper, and foam crafts for the young artist in all of us. These kits were coordinated through the American Red Cross and delivered to the military patients and their families. We returned with humbled and grateful hearts for the brave men and women serving to protect our nation and are willing to sacrifice their lives for the safety and the freedom of our country.
